Alexandre Gama is a Brazilian businessman and artist whose businesses operate primarily in the advertising industry.

Gama majored in Advertising and Communications at Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation. He got his start at standard Ogilvy and Mather as a creative and copywriter.

In 2002, Gama’s firm Neogama entered into merger proceedings with BBH, the London-based agency, the resulting organization is called Neogama/BBH. Gama remains the majority shareholder of the combined company.

In 2006, Alexandre Gama was named one of the 7 most important professionals in the history of Brazilian publicity by a group of 250 publicity professionals in Brazil.

In 2012, both Neogama and BBH were acquired by Publicis Groupe. In 2016, after completing the earn-out period required as part of the merger, Gama returned Neogama to private operation, leaving the BBH network. The company entered a new era with a focus on Brazilian operations.

Gama was invited in 2014 to showcase his work at the Museum of Brazillian Art, in an applied exhibition Ideia e Forma – Alexandre Gama, which was unique amongst exhibitions of that type in Brazil thus far.
